Try this new thread that I created after finding some information to help start a new topic on how to polish the Intake Manifold.

The lower rocker panel molding is coming loose?

Can you post a photo. I will take a look and see if I can find a diagram on that area.

i looked in the manual and found out that it is just fasteners so I went out and pushed on the area that was out and it went back into place. I would still like to see a full removal just so I will know what to do when I need to remove it to replace some of the fasteners when it comes time. The manual doesn't really give a very detailed diagram for my taste. Would like to know what kind of trim-type release tool is.

Glad you got it worked out. That was the first place I was going to look (service manual). As for the trim panel tools, I bought a set from Harbor Freight.
