That's a good thing. I saw less than 1/2 qt. loss between oil changes. That was around 6,000 miles.

This maybe a stupid question.. Where would you be able to see the oil if it is leaking? I had my 2nd oil change @ approx 7500 mlies and according to the repair shop my oil was just barely on the dip stick!!!

If you don't see any on the ground or on the bottom of your Camaro then you are not leaking it but instead you are burning it. Very possible that it is going back into the intake manifold thru the PCV system, which is why many of us have added the oil catch can.

I cannot answer that question. I am not part of the engine team. Best I could recommend is take it into the dealer and ask them if there are any bulletins or complaints on this issue. I have heard that some are down a qt. like you and others like me are down less than a 1/2 qt. in 6000 miles. Not sure why the difference.

Send a PM to Bat Car and ask him if he would be willing to set that up. He is the owner operator of the RX team.
