I took my car into the dealer and asked them to look at my front struts as they are making a knocking noise when I go over bumps. I was told this is normal for the v6. When my old lumina sounded like that the struts were loose...... I'm not to happy, they sound cheap! Anyone have the same issue?

Is everything else stock? No lowering springs or sway bars? Funny noises have been reported with those items added.

If stock I would try another dealer. Does not sound normal to me? Let me do some digging and see what I can find out.

I am not so sure about "normal" noise.

I did some checking. Ask about Document ID: 2211150. This is a Noise Diagnosis - Front Suspension service information document.

Dealer has a procedure they are to follow for this complaint.

Let us know what comes from this situation.

Sounds like you have a really crappy dealer. Time to start looking for a new one.
