2012 LFX- Which aftermarket muffler?

I know it's early for products for this car. What are the favorite choices, most power, and best sound. Maybe we should just sit back and wait a while.

MRT is a very popular axle back system. Best thing to do is listen to the sound bytes on this thread.

yea exhaust, intake, and also throttle body upgrades are ready for the LFX cars. May be some more now, but I can't recall.

MRT has always been a popular choice. You wont see any real power gains from an axle back exhaust though, you'd had to go long tubes(or shorties), high flow cats and full cat back exhaust to see any real gains. The exhaust thread has a lot of examples though. Check it out.

I listened to a ton of exhaust sound clips and finally decided on the MRT v2...

GREAT Choice Redliner. Let us know what you think after the install. I have had mine for over 42K now and they still look fantastic and sound even better.

Looking forward to getting it on... ordered a CAI cold air induction and RX catch can at the same time.

I'll pass along my thought on all after the installs.

Magnaflow resonated x-pipe with Magnaflow 4" round polished stainless steel mufflers and OEM tips. Awesome sound no drone at all.
2014 2LT RS. Magnaflow resonated x pipe and 4" round SS mufflers with OEM tips. Painted engine cover, fuse box cover. fender hash stripes, hood spears in Carbon fiber. Engine cover and wheel decal kit. LED trunk and dome lights. Volant CAI Kit.
