Bat Car wrote:Welcome!! Hey, from the pics your not running a good catchcan, you have a GDI engine, and those valves will not be looking good! Let us know if you need technical question answered, and spread the word on this site.

Bat Car thank you for telling me about this catch can. I have my Camaro in storage for the winter but, in the spring I am going to get one of those catch cans when I get my Camaro out again. This is the one that I am looking to purchase below. Thoughts? :D

You will find that Bat Car will tell you that a beer can will catch as much oil as that can will. Any can will work, just some work 99% better. Which is why I am running the RX can. I collect 1 oz. oil per 1000 miles. I have been running his can for over 70K miles now. Imagine what the inside of my intake and top of the valves would look like with all that oil in there. No thank - you.

Go with a good can. There are a few on the market. I would recommend some of them, but I think you should contact the lead I provided first.

What makes the RX one any better than the other ones that are out there on the market :?:

What's inside is what makes it work. There are threads showing the cut away of typical cans and the RX can. The threads I speak of are on Camaro5.com. I would post the link but I am not sure I could find them either. Like I said best bet is contact Tracy at the email I posted. He will give you all the information you require.

rtcat600man Thank you on your comment about my Camaro. I use to have a 2011 Victory Red but, I sold it to this guy that really wanted to buy it. He made me an offer i could not refuse. I bought this white this year used from a dealership over by Detroit and the woman that had it drove it one winter so, I got the snow tires with the car which I don't drive it in the winter. I have it stored right now for the year. I hope that we can meet one day. :D

Are you going to the Camaro Superfest this year?

I will be going to some of it this year. The plant tour in Lansing, and the laps at MIS. However, I will not be going to the show at the park in Ypsi this year. That is a time I am at my parents spending time with my family on the lake and boat.
