Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for some guidance on door sill plates. I think Chevrolet should have installed them when the car was built. That's my opinion. Have a lot of you guys installed them? Did you you get metal plates or decals? Did you go with "CHEVROLET", "CAMARO", or "CAMARO RS"? Pictures would be great. Thanks again.

Hello Rich,

GM is now offering those sill plates with the 6th Gen. They learned from the past that this was a mod that many chose to do for themselves. I for one bought some shortly after getting my Camaro. Unfortunately that company is no longer around. I paid $90 shipped to the house. Love them. Aluminum billet plate.

Here is a good option, and relatively cheap too.

Search ebay: Camaro Sill plate.

Hi Mike,
I really like the sill plates you put on your Camaro. I'll find something very similar and get them on my car.
Thanks,
Rich

You are welcome. Good luck. Once you get them take some photos and show off what you installed.

I have these ones, wouldn't recommend them though. They are a hard flexible vinyl from gm. Image

Hello,
Thanks for the pictures. I think I'll keep looking for ones that say CAMARO or CAMARO RS.

Thanks again,

Rich
